QUESTION & ANSWER
Do we need to buy a Musical Instrument ?
Unless you already own a suitable instrument, yes it will be necessary. But don't rush into making this kind of decision until you have discussed it with one of our experienced counsellors. We would not want you to go out and buy an instrument which is not suitable for your child's lessons or get stuck with a poor quality product. And you may want to wait with the purchase of an instrument until you have received the first teacher's report and discussed this fully with the music counsellor.
Where should we buy an Instrument?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions: "Should we buy our instrument from the studio where we take the lessons, or should we try to find a bargain at a discount store 9 We both work hard for our money and we want to be fair to all parties concerned."Firstly, you should be concerned about getting the best value for yourself. The cheapest instrument isn't always the best deal. There are many poor quality instruments on the market today.
Secondly, only a business that has been around for a long time can guarantee service on the instrument you will be using for a number of years.
Thirdly, to be sure that you are getting quality at the right price, you will have to buy from someone you can trust.
